Warranty Policy - Last updated 1/1/2008

POP AdVisions, Inc. warrants our “Brightboard Digital Signage Systems” against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original purchase.  All individual component purchases are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original purchase.  POP AdVisions, Inc. does not offer refunds or product upgrades.  If a defect exists, at its option, POP AdVisions, Inc. will (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. A replacement product/part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or thirty (30) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes POP AdVisions, Inc.’s property.

Warranty Procedure:

You must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from our “Customer Support” department before returning a product.  Our customer support representatives are available Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm EST).  You will need the serial number of the product as well as proof of purchase when contacting our customer support department.  Do not ship your defective product to POP AdVisions, Inc. before obtaining an RMA number as the shipment may get rejected by our receiving department. 

Once a RMA number has been issued, the product is to be packaged securely with the RMA number written clearly on the outside of the package.  All products are to be shipped to our Rochester, NY repair facility, at the customer’s expense.  POP AdVisions, Inc. is not responsible for inbound freight charges of RMA products.  Please make sure to include power supplies and all associated cabling when returning products.  It is not necessary to include manuals, software or mounting brackets with the product.   We suggest using a carrier that provides tracking information.  POP AdVisions, Inc. is not responsible for packages lost in transit to POP AdVisions, Inc.  The repaired product will be shipped back to the customer by ground services with shipping charges prepaid by POP AdVisions, Inc.  Expedited shipping services are available at an additional cost.

Warranty Exclusions & Limitations


This warranty does not apply if, in the judgment of POP ADVISIONS, INC., the product fails due to damage from shipment, handling, storage, accident, abuse or misuse, or damage that is attributable to acts of God, or if it has been used or maintained in a manner not conforming to product's instructions, has been modified in any way, or has a defaced or removed serial number.  Repair by anyone other than POP ADVISIONS, INC. voids this warranty.  The maximum liability of POP ADVISIONS, INC. is the product purchase price.

Out of Warranty Service

If your product is not covered under warranty, we offer Repair Services for a fee. POP AdVisions, Inc. will evaluate the unit and provide the customer an estimate before proceeding with any repairs.  Our out-of-warranty labor rate is $75 per hour with a 1-hour minimum labor charge.  Items repaired out of warranty will include a 30-day limited warranty covering the initial problem that was repaired only.  POP AdVisions, Inc. is not responsible for items that may fail within this 30-day limited warranty with problems other than what was originally diagnosed.
